Your game stays yours.
You can always play without an account. Optional sign-in lets dedicated players carry progress between devices.
Guest play and optional sync
Guest progress, completed results, streaks, and a random anonymous browser ID are saved in localStorage on that browser. If you choose to sign in, your puzzle progress and streak are privately associated with your authenticated email and stored so they can follow you across devices. Signing out does not remove the local copy.
What analytics contain
We record puzzle visits, starts, answer outcomes, scores, completion, achievements, sharing actions, and normalized unmatched answer text. This lets us understand board difficulty and missing answers. Analytics are private and visible only to authorized administrators.
What we do not collect
We do not derive identity from IP addresses, fingerprint devices, attempt invasive cross-device tracking, request precise location, or collect contacts, microphone, camera, or notification data. We do not sell analytics or use advertising trackers. Anonymous browser counts are approximate and do not represent verified individual people.
